COVID-19 RESPONSE

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, it is important that appropriate precautions are maintained so that we can continue to safely meet the healthcare needs of our patients. At Goldman & Miller Cardiology we are following the C.D.C's protocols by seeing fewer patients, sanitizing our waiting room and exam rooms, wearing face masks, and social distancing.

 

If you are experiencing symptoms possibly related to COVID-19, we kindly ask that you reschedule your office visit.

 

Symptoms of COVID-19 may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus and include, but are not limited to:

  • fever or chills

  • cough

  • shortness of breath

  • difficulty breathing

  • fatigue

  • muscle or body aches

  • headache

  • loss of taste or smell

  • sore throat

  • congestion or runny nose

  • nausea or vomiting

  • diarrhea

Call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room, if you are experiencing any of the following life-threatening symptoms that have also been reported:

  • bluish lips or face

  • severe and constant pain or pressure in the chest

  • extreme difficulty breathing (gasping for air, being unable to talk without catching your breath, severe wheezing, nostrils flaring)

  • new disorientation (acting confused)

  • unconscious or very difficult to wake up

  • slurred speech or difficulty speaking (new or worsening)

  • new or worsening seizures

  • signs of low blood pressure (too weak to stand, dizziness, lightheaded, feeling cold, pale, clammy skin)

  • dehydration (dry lips and mouth, not urinating much, sunken eyes)
